Consumer Credit Counseling involves discussing integrative approaches to managing debt while making consistent payments in addition to changing spending habits.

Debt Management is often included as part of the Debt Restructuring Program utilized by TFC Debt Analysis Specialists. This is the most popular program enrolled in by clients due to its accessibility and usefulness.

This is a program for clients who have diversified payments across a multitude of platforms. Instead of paying multiple payments of varying interest rates and amounts, Debt Restructuring combines these different debts into one easy to manage payment. The benefits of Debt Restructuring include, a minimized monthly payment that will be more affordable as well as a reduction of the total debt amount.

On average our Debt Specialists negotiate our client’s debt, reducing it to about 40 to 50 cents on the dollar! Being the best on the industry. Not only that, the biggest saving will be on your interest. Once enrolled in the program you won’t have to worry about interest rates; one affordable monthly payment from beginning to end.

We will work with you to determine the appropriate monthly dollar amount that you plan to save towards negotiated resolutions of your enrolled debt. This monthly amount can be significantly less than your current minimum payments, and goes toward resolving your debt (not simply paying credit card interest charges). These monthly funds will be saved every month in a new account that you set up and control. TFC does not charge any upfront or monthly fees. The only fees we collect are those associated with debts we actually resolve for you. Once you get a comfortable monthly program payment established that meets your budget, you will get an estimate of your savings potential and program length. Most programs average between 24-48 months, although individual results may vary.

As an additional service, our lawyers represent our clients through the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices), TFC restores a sense of normalcy to the disruption debt collection causes by eliminating the presence of debt collectors.

Under the FDCPA, Debt Collectors May Not:

  • Call you repeatedly
  • Use abusive or foul language
  • Contact your neighbors, relatives, coworkers, or employers about your payments or your financial history
  • Use deceptive or otherwise illegal practices to obtain unwarranted information
  • Misrepresent your debt or status of your debt
  • Disclose your debt to any third party
